Entrepreneurs in Residence

Entrepreneurs in Residence are essential in supporting and contributing to the SETsquared Exeter innovation ecosystem. They are successful entrepreneurs that have “been there and done that” and are now available to share their knowledge, experience, and networks with our emerging entrepreneurs, startups and innovative projects.

During monthly catch-ups, our Entrepreneurs in Residence mentor our members and foster innovation by connecting them to a wealth of knowledge and expertise.

Our current Business Accelerator Entrepreneurs in Residence include Luke Lang, Founder of investment platform CrowdCube; Andrew Southall, an expert in governance, commercial R&D, and operations management; and Samantha Mickleburgh, specialist in large corporate businesses, business growth, and creator of a number of successful startups.

“As an Entrepreneur in Residence, our role is to act as a critical friend, providing a sounding board, challenging thinking, and helping to steer founders through the unknown territory of an early-stage or growing business, utilising our broad range of knowledge and experience.”

“Being a ‘trusted friend’ and providing this steer to such a diverse range of businesses and individuals throughout their journey is immensely rewarding, and knowing we make a difference brings a real sense of personal satisfaction.”
